How it works

A simple process from "something's wrong" to "it's sorted."

No mystery, no runaround. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you contact me to after the work is done.

  1. 1. You reach out

Call, email, or use the request form. Tell me what's happening, where you are, and how urgent it is. No ticketing system to navigate — just a real person reading your message.

  2. 2. You get a clear quote

I look at the problem and tell you the fix and the cost in plain English. Hourly work starts at the rates on the Services page; project work gets a written quote before anything begins.

  3. 3. We fix it — remote or on-site

Many issues are fixed remotely the same day. Hardware, network, and server work happens on-site. You choose what fits, and I'll recommend the right option for the problem.

  4. 4. I document and follow up

I write down what I did so you have a record. If something needs a follow-up or a future upgrade, I'll flag it — no pressure, just a heads-up so you can plan.

How a remote support session works

  1. 1. I send you a secure link to start a support session.
  2. 2. You open it and watch your screen as I work — you see everything I do.
  3. 3. I diagnose and fix the issue, talking you through it as I go.
  4. 4. When we're done, the session closes and I no longer have access to your computer.

I never leave a backdoor open and I don't keep permanent access. If you'd rather not use remote support, we can talk through the fix by phone or set up an on-site visit.

What to expect on-site

  1. 1. We agree on a time and I confirm any travel cost up front (free within 15 miles of Appleton).
  2. 2. I arrive on time with the tools and parts the job needs.
  3. 3. I do the work, test it with you, and explain what I changed.
  4. 4. You get a clear invoice and a written record of what was done.

On-site is best for hardware installs, network cabling, server work, and anything that needs hands on the equipment across Appleton, Neenah, Menasha, Oshkosh, and Green Bay.
